Xavier Rudd’s new album is titled Storm Boy © Cole Bennetsĭo you believe the beauty of the world manifests itself or that we have to continuously seek it out? We should always evolve in a positive and respectful manner, as opposed to being omnivorous and predatory. In truth it would be enough to think of ourselves as part of planet Earth and love it for everything it gives us. I think so, those beliefs influence our daily lives, but there are also many religions that teach us to respect the gift of nature. If the most important religions had focused their doctrines on Mother Earth instead of higher beings, do you think we’d love and respect our planet more? I’m not religious in the sense that I don’t believe in a God and I don’t follow the tenets of organised churches, but I believe in nature and everything that surrounds me: I love Earth, the sun, the sea and animals. I know you’re not a believer, what is your relationship with religion? Your vision shows a balance between spirituality and rationality. If we make radical choices, we must be certain and firm in our beliefs, always remembering to love ourselves for what we are. In your songs it seems more like a peaceful rebellion than a defeat. To quote your dear friend Ben Harper, sometimes you just have to walk away. On the other hand, Stom Boy is a natural progression from Spirit Bird, the continuation of my journey and an honest tale of my experiences in the last five years. This album is very special to me, it’s much more personal than Nanna with the United Nations, which can be considered a separate chapter in my discography. You’ve said that every album is a revelation of your spirit that magically appears through music: what has this album told you about yourself? We just finished recording it and I can’t wait for the album to be out, but there’s no time to dwell on it because we’ve already began rehearsals for the long tour ahead of us. ![]() ![]() God is calling us to get into the game, but we must know the rules and how to win. Our joy for God and His grace to overcome a stronghold in our life is the best net to catch fish. We can thoroughly enjoy the difficult changes in our life when we do it for the love of God and to evangelize those around us through how we live. We need to know Him in our hearts, discern His voice, praise and thank Him always and everywhere in order to live peacefully and filled with joy here on earth. Our relationship with God is the first of the Two Greatest Commandments and any real transformation needs to come from Him. Another good reason is to save our own souls and do our best to help bring others to Jesus. If we honestly look at the house of the Holy Spirit and how we care for our mind and body in which He dwells, it’s easy to see this is a much deeper meaning and purpose. Will you live your identity as a Child of God? Will you take care of your mind, your body and hold your spiritual self upright against the winds of these times? Will you live your meaning and purpose to know, love and serve God in this life and the next? How will you treat these gifts God has given you? You have also been given a mind and a body, paid for at a great price by Jesus and His Passion. You are called to be different – be a disciple and make disciples. You have been given the gift of faith from God. For example, if you want to lose 20 pounds for that big event or have some visible change for people to praise you or to fit in with those around you – that is not a meaningful reason. Who are we, or who do we want to be? If our reason is shallow and driven by superficial cultural norms, then we are already starting off with little meaning and purpose. Our ‘why’ or reason to change should be linked to our identity. Jesus looked at them and said, ‘For human beings this is impossible, but with God all things are possible'(Matt. Let’s take a look at the Soul, Mind and Body approach for the permanent transformation we all seek. All too often we focus on the mind to change the body and we forget about Our Father, who created us, and His Will and ultimate power in our life. The absolute first thing is to bring God into your life. Did you have a holy Lent, filled with temperance and self-control, only to fall back into your old subconscious programs and habits the minute Easter arrived? Perhaps you have tried for decades to change your behavior, only to compound the feelings of self-hatred and shame as you fell off the wagon for the umpteenth time? If you have tried the mind-over matter-approach over and overtime to try the Soul, Mind and Body approach for true transformation with God. ![]() ![]() It retracts neatly into the drum after use, although you may need to coax the hose slightly as it begins to fill up the casing. Less force is required to pull out the hose than with longer models, and it extends smoothly. The hose is 20 m long, which accounts for the smaller unit, yet still offers sufficient reach for small gardens and medium spaces. It’s also a good budget option, possessing many of the same features as some of the best garden hose reels on this list, without the eyewatering price tag. The VonHaus Auto Rewind Wall-Mounted Hose Reel measures 41 x 40 x 20 cm which is significantly smaller than some other models. If you’re working with limited space, you might be wondering if there are more compact units available. However, overall, the price-to-quality ratio for this wall mounted reel seems well balanced and this is a great budget option. The tap connector, and fittings for the hose, nozzle and spray gun are all plastic. Whereas many garden hoses have more durable metal fittings, the Umi has plastic connectors. Whether you’re washing the car, watering the plants, or even cleaning your dog, there’s a spray setting for the job. It comes with both a spray nozzle and spray gun, leaving you with plenty of options. The Umi Auto Rewind Garden Hose Reel comes from a lesser known brand, yet it’s a reliable hose with a surprising number of attachments included for such a budget-friendly item. It makes managing a 40 m hose as simple as possible and comes in at a reasonable price. The hose pipe and casing are robust and high quality, and the mechanism works as you would expect. Overall though, it’s one of the best garden hose reels on the market. Installation can also be a bit of a challenge at 16.4 kg it’s not the lightest of units and it needs to be fixed to a solid wall to make sure it stays in securely. The reel casing measures 27 x 66 x 55.5 cm, which is bigger than some other models. It’s worth noting that this is a large hose reel that does take up quite a bit of space – certainly something to bear in mind when considering if it’s the right product for your garden. It has a variety of adjustable spray settings, making it easy to change between jobs The quality hose pipe is a three-layer, anti-kink hose that comes with a spraying nozzle. Unless you want to be farming mobs mindlessly for hours on end, increasing level cap also means you need more quests, a longer story, etc etc. Myzzrym: It's simple really, time and budget. We won't have any class features / spells that get unlocked above level 10, so allowing you to level up would just be useless Q08: You've said the campaign ends at about level 10 - is this a hard-coded limit (like in the BG games, where characters just stopped earning XP) or is it just a "there's no efficient way of getting XP to go higher, unless you want to spend a gazillion hours farming goblin random encounters" thing? Firstly, open the tab for the controller that you would like to map. In order to use a controller that is not supported directly by SDL 2, you will have to map your controller in AntiMicro so that you will be able to use and create universal Game Controller profiles. For more technical details, you can check out the header file that contains the mappings for supported controllers. ![]() The controllers that are supported will vary depending on the platform that SDL is running on but those controllers have mappings that will work on any major supported platform. AntiMicro uses the API to allow one profile (universal profile) to be usable using many different kinds of controllers. This allows for a more plug and play experience for the end user. The SDL Game Controller API is an XInput-like API that game developers can use to allow sensible default gamepad controls to be implemented in a game without having to worry about how the buttons are mapped on the controller itself.
